Sicamous – Malakwa- Eagle Valley Riding Areas
Blue Lake
Blue Lake is found 17km east of Sicamous and only 6km from our property. The area is great for novices, families and those wanting to explore some awesome backcountry. You’ll find wide open alpine and sub alpine riding, plus the perk of a cabin! The Blue Lake cabin is equipped with a stove so you can warm up and have lunch before heading out again. Check out Sled Sicamous’s page for maps and more info.
Eagle Pass
Looking for a challenge? Eagle Pass is rugged, remote, big and steep! This area is not recommended for advanced riders and a first trip up there should be with someone familiar with the terrain. There is a great little cabin up here too! You’ll find the trailhead just 10km from our property, approximately 29 km east of Sicamous and 43km west of Revelstoke. Check out Sled Sicamous’s page for maps and more info.
Owlhead
You’ll find great riding for all levels at Owlhead! The trailhead is 15minutes/20kms from our property and practically right within Sicamous. Lots of exploring up here, and a log cabin to rest and recharge. Gorgeous views await you at Owlhead. Check out Sled Sicamous’s page for maps and more info.
Queest
Check out Queest Mountain, with an alternative access located just minutes from our property in Malakwa. Sled Sicamous asks riders here to respect the speed limits on our community’s roads, as well as the private properties bordering the staging area. You’ll be able to access the riding area from Queest Mountain Road, with only a 14km ride up. We get a tonne of snow and with an elevation of over 2000m you’re going to find snow late into the season. A great little cabin offers a wood stove and lots of room for groups to grab a snack. Check out Sled Sicamous’s page for maps and more info.
